I came across Katie Kneeland, one of the women in the park, but I already got a Katie Kneeland in my local database for 'The Hunger Games' and that doesn't seems to be this Katie. I know IMDB isn't the most reliable source for it, but I can't find any other source. Katie in What Women Want (BY=1981) Katie in The Hunger Games and others (BY=????) But as I said before, I know it isn't the most reliable source, so I want to ask it here first. Is there anyone who can confirm that these two Katie's are different actresses or are the same? Of course, with hundreds of thousands names, there can be errors, specially for obscure crew members, but in this case, both actresses have photos, that clearly show different persons, so the risk of error is very small. If you look closer at the 'Hunger Games' Miss Kneeland's IMDb-page, then you'll see that on each and every one of her official headshots, she's called Kate Kneeland. Also, the "IMDb Resume" section, which is not user-built, but provided by the actors themselves or their agent, that lists her as Kate as well.
Looking at the CLT, I daresay that the common name of the Miss Kneeland in 'What Women Want' is Katie Kneeland, while the common name of the Miss Kneeland in 'The Hunger Games' is Kate Kneeland. If that's the case, no birth years are needed.
Note that while I do trust the information IMDb shows to accept that these are two different people, I'm not entirely convinced that IMDb put all the right credits under the right person. It may very well be that same of Kate's credit are erroneously listed under "Katie" or vice versa. If we really wanted to be sure, we'd have to re-watch all those films, headshots in hand, to see if we can spot which one actually appears. | | | | Last edited: by T!M |
