This is regarding this posting by northbloke and Ken's confirmation. I think it's a mistake and Ken didn't think it through. *is being blunt right now* The defining quality of a slip cover is that it holds a single inside case. If it were to hold more than one case (of any kind!) then it's a slip case. The rules tell us to always scan the slip cover for profiles which is also true for TV show child profiles with only one exception: If the discs have their own case and cover. But then the season profile case type would become a slip case again and not a whatever + slip cover. So, now we have a rule and a contradicting forum confirmation: We are supposed to take the images of the slip cover for the child profiles and yet we're not supposed to actually set the slip cover checkbox. But this has real consequences, especially when it comes to series Blu-ray. The US boxes of Arrow (or Person of Interest for that matter) do come in a single HD keep case with a slip cover. The season box would look like this: Without the slip cover checkbox on the child profile the cover starts looking like neither slip cover nor at least the HD keep case cover + generated banner. Instead it looks like this: This couldn't have been the intention of anyone! |
