| Posted: | | | | I been getting a lot of DVD/BD combo sets lately... and I just wanted to be completely sure how they need to be online per rules... as I think this is one of the times I will be doing it differently locally.
The parent profile (BD) gets all the info... including the info that is only on the DVD version... for example if the DVD has an extra feature that the BD don't... I still check that feature off on the parent profile... right?
Since I do download the DVD profile... for my local I think I will list only what is on the BD on the BD profile and only what is on the DVD on the DVD profile.
I just wanted to confirm the way it is to be done for the online... as I wasn't 100% sure. | | | Pete |

The rules state: "A combo which includes HD media (HD-DVD, Blu-ray) as well as DVD should use the details from the HD media in the main profile." Does this mean that only the features from the HD media should be in the main profile? | | | My DVD/Blu-ray Collection My Letterboxd Page |

| Posted: | | | | Right... that is why I started this thread... I just wasn't completely sure by the rules itself. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | For what it's worth, I've always interpreted it as don't include features from the DVD copy but have seen them contributed. I suppose there's no harm in doing so. | | | My DVD/Blu-ray Collection My Letterboxd Page | | | Last edited: by Rizor |

| Posted: | | | | as I understand it, you treat it exactly as you would any 2-disc set with bonus features on the 2nd disc. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. We will teach it to them again. Though it take a thousand years, we will be free. - Citizen G'Kar |
