| Posted: | | | | Do we just list U-Control in other features and that's it, or can we include all the features listed such as tech specs, picture in picture, virtual garage and others? |

| Posted: | | | | Since we have increased space in the other features field would it be fine to do something like the following.
The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor
Other Features U-Control: The Dragon Emperor's Challenge, Know Your Mummy, Scene Explorer, Visual Commentary |

The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor
Other Features U-Control: The Dragon Emperor's Challenge, Know Your Mummy, Scene Explorer, Visual Commentary I don't really see why not, if it's valid info and will fit. I often see users contribute extended "Booklet" details (often lengthy!) that are listed on the back cover in Other Features, and they're always approved with no problem. | | | Corey |

| Posted: | | | | Though I wouldn't do it if... 1. It doesn't all fit... if it don't all fit I wouldn't just list a few that fits. Why bother... and someone would come around and want different ones mentioned then you did... could cause ping-pong contributions. 2. There is other features on the disc that needs the space in Other Features... Would still need to be able to list things such as: Trivia Tracks Radio Spots Film Introductions (which were not part of the original theatrical release) Indications for multiple versions of a film (From the rules) | | | Pete | | | Last edited: by Addicted2DVD |

The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor
Other Features U-Control: The Dragon Emperor's Challenge, Know Your Mummy, Scene Explorer, Visual Commentary I think it's all game to be included. I think there was some debate over visual commentaries (does it count as PIP? a commentary? both? neither?) but I'm not bothered by it myself. Maybe someone with more experience can answer, but do Universal's U-Control features really add anything? I've always assumed it was largely just clips from the various featurettes already selectable from the features menu just made available on the disc in an alternate PIP type presentation. I know of a few discs that have more exclusive type U-Control extras (The World's End's storyboard track, 2005's King Kong and The Thing both have excerpts from documentaries not found elsewhere on the disc). But is this the norm? | | | My DVD/Blu-ray Collection My Letterboxd Page |

Other Features U-Control: The Dragon Emperor's Challenge, Know Your Mummy, Scene Explorer, Visual Commentary Sounds good go me. | | | 99.9% of all cat plans consist only of "Step 1." |

| Posted: | | | | I just wonder: Are the U-Control features actually encoded on the disc or are they more to be compared to BD-Live?
Does anyone know? | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Does anyone know? I don't _know_ but I have a recollection that I've used them without internet connection, so I would say encoded on the disc. |

Does anyone know? I don't know about U-Control on all discs...but it's been included on Blu-rays that don't even have BD-Live content on them. The Thing (1982) Blu-ray is one I can think of. The U-Control is mostly PiP content on that disc from what I can recall. | | | Corey |

| Posted: | | | | Just tried U-Control on that Mummy movie with internet access turned off and U-Control featured displayed fine. Looks like it's encoded on disc. |
