| Posted: | | | | Hi... I need help from someone! I need to know if it's possible to create and contribute a title with the same disc id of a different version with a different cover. I'll try to explain: i've bought the "X-Men Adamantium Collection", a special edition with the reproduction of the wolverine's glove that contains two separate digibooks with all the blu-ray movies inside. Those digibooks HAVE NOT a barcode and they contains the same discs (with same disc id) of an older version. May i create and contribute another entry with the same disc id but a different cover? I hope that someone understand what i mean. Sorry for my not perct english, and thank you in advance to everyone that may help me! |

Submitting a brand new profile with the same Disc ID and locality is currently not possible. Since your set is a later release, the older set's entry in the database takes precedence and you'll have to keep your re-release coverscans in your local database. | | | Corey |

You may use this EAN as identifier for the parent profile and add the content of the digibooks as children. As pointed out by Katatonia you can change the release-specific data (Pics, Case, Release-Date, etc) of the child-profiles on a local basis only. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
