Love the program so far but one thing I found is a little off...When you add a collection (For instance, The Star Trek collections of Blu-Rays). the program will give a disc number to every disc in the set. that is ok but they often are out of order. For some reason star trek 3 was listed after star trek 5 and there were several others. Near as I can tell, every collection is like that. The other thing is, when running a report, it once again lists collections wrong. it lists the entore collection and then each individual DVD in the set. Is there a way to force the report to just list the Collection OR each individual movie in the set? Not both. This skews the disc count. I really couldnt see an answer for tese questions so I'm sorry if they have been dealt with already.

Thanks for any help

If I am not mistaken... both problems has to do with sort titles in the personalization window. It has Three instead of 3... Five instead of 5 and so on. This field is local only so you would have to change them to how you prefer it one at a time.

By disc number I assume you mean Collection number. The order you add the profiles sets the collection number. Later added get bigger value (always next unused number). Theres no right or wrong value for collection number. You can edit them later for your liking or remove them completely.

When running a report you have options to include Box Set Cases, Box Set Contents or both.

This skews the disc count.

For correct disc count value for your liking you should use Count As value.

Collection number and Count as values you can find on each profiles Personal Information section.

Thank you for the help. I actually figured these out myself shortly after I posted the questions. I'm sorry if I wasted anyones time. Going forward, I just have top remind myself to rearrange the box sets before addint it to the collection.

Thanks again

Actually that is not uncommon. To formulate a good question you have to really think about the problem, sometimes even from another angle and thus the answer sometimes comes to you while writing or shortly after.

Excellent point, and you have highlighted one of the best aspects of a forum like this. Greenies to both you and Pete.
