| Posted: | | | | Hi, Today I bought 'The Adjustment Bureau' on blu-ray. When I was adding the profile for the Belgian locality, I couldn't enter the ratings, because they don't excist in DVDProfiler. I searched the net and I found why. Since 2009 they added a new rating for the Belgian and Dutch locality: '9 - Mogelijk schadelijk tot 9 jaar', this means '9 - Potentially harmful till 9 years' or something like it. This is the Dutch site: KijkwijzerI already took a supporting ticket, and they answered me that I should make a topic for it to discuss. Should this new rating be added to the system? It's a similar problem as there was for the Spanish ratingsGrts, Mitch. | | | Mitch |

| Posted: | | | | Well if the rating is official, it has to find its way into DVDP.
The question is: the before 2009 and the after 2009 system: Any other difference besides the 9-rating?
If not, Ken can just add the 9 to the current NL-system. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | No, they just added the 9-rating because the gap was to big between 6 and 12.
Before 2009 there was AL, 6, 12, 16. After 2009 there is AL, 6, 9, 12, 16. | | | Mitch | | | Last edited: by mitchg |

| Posted: | | | | Do you have the latest version and do you use the correct ratingsystem? In my version it's possible to set the rating to 9. |

| Posted: | | | | I think I got the latest version. How can I check this?
Apparently there is an other ratingsystem for the Belgian locality >> 'Film' instead of 'Kijkwijzer', and there I can't choose the rating 9.
I must add this to the support ticket. | | | Mitch | | | Last edited: by mitchg |

| Posted: | | | | The version info is shown when you start up the program or via the Help menu --> About DVD Profiler
I thought the rating was the same because most of the Belgian and Dutch profiles are identical. Sorry for that. I've tried a Belgian profile and now it's clear you use another name for the ratingsystem. |

| Posted: | | | | In the real world the rating systems are the same, but apparently not (yet) in DVDP land.
So yes, this should be added to the Belgian rating system (which is in fact Dutch). The Belgian rating system itself should be renamed to Kijkwijzer (and Videovoorlichtingsysteem for its predecessor). | | | Last edited: by dee1959jay |

| Posted: | | | | That's because Ken needs you to give him the exact details to enter. If you follow the example of the Spanish rating system update request here then you'll see it's updated very quickly. | | | IVS Registered: January 2, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | Just copy everything from the Netherlands locality, that's all. |

| Posted: | | | | The ratingsystem should be the same for the Netherlands as for Belgium. It should be 'Kijkwijzer' and 'Videovoorlichtingsysteem' for its predecessor, instead of 'Film' in Belgium.
Here are the ratings: Dutch meaning >> English meaning AL: Niet schadelijk/Alle leeftijden >> AL: Suitable for all audiences 6: Mogelijk schadelijk tot 6 jaar/Vanaf 6 jaar >> 6: Not recommended for audiences under 6 9: Mogelijk schadelijk tot 9 jaar/Vanaf 9 jaar >> 9: Not recommended for audiences under 9 12: Mogelijk schadelijk tot 12 jaar/Vanaf 12 jaar >> 12: Not recommended for audiences under 12 16: Mogelijk schadelijk tot 16 jaar/Vanaf 16 jaar >> 16: Not recommended for audiences under 16
Hopefully this is enough. | | | Mitch |

| Posted: | | | | To be accurate and take also in account the 'francophone' version of the rating, AL should be AL/Tous. It's the same issue with the description of each rating: all of them are put in Dutch only and why not also in French? | | | Regards Cyrille | | | Last edited: by Cyrille |
