The voting button with the yellow "?" named "Neutral" doesn't have a comment-box, because voting "Neutral" usually means the same as "I don't care" so there is no need for an additional comment.
Voting "No" (The button with the big red "X") has a comment-box, because it is mandatory to state the reason for this vote.
a) Because it may be helpful to the contributor to be pointed at an (accidental) error and gives him the opportunity to correct his contribution.
b) Because the screener who decides about the contribution needs the information to, to be able to decide. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!

What exactly does your comment have to do with the fact that clicking on "Neutral" doesn't require a comment?
Or is it that you just want to turn another thread into a p*** contest?

The only function that the "neutral" button has, is that it subsequently hides that particular contribution from your list of Unvoted Pending Updates. I'll use neutral when I don't care or for stuff I don't really own, but track dubs or customs of. If I have to say something while voting neutral, I'll determine if my vote is leaning more yes or no and use which ever one it's leaning more towards, with a note to the screeners to consider it a neutral vote with comment. Seems to work.  |

Where does the comment go? You should rescind that NO vote so it does not confuse the issue. Voting neutral means you are abstaining from voting. And as you noticed currently you cannot abstain from a vote with a comment. Comments are for those that vote YES or NO. If you have a comment or question about a contribution and you wish to abstain you should PM the contributor, or simply place the question in the forums. |
