| Posted: | | | | I have the first three seasons of the Canadian TV series "Republic of Doyle" cataloged in my DVDP collection. I just received the 4th season and when I went to add it to my collection, the UPC code was not found. So I attempted to add it by Title. I typed in Republic of Doyle and I am not seeing any entries for Republic of Doyle. I should at least be seeing the first three seasons listed with the little "house" icon indicating that I have them in my database correct? Could someone else check to see if they can see them? Thanks! |

As the online profiles aren't showing images this suggests it's not an issue with the local database file that we get data from, but that they just aren't in the database at all. It's possible somebody might have deleted the entries if they thought they were bootlegs, but you would have seen them up for voting if that was the case.
Do you see any history in the view contribution notes section of the program? (Icon of two people in front of a dvd). | | | IVS Registered: January 2, 2002 |

That would be my guess as well. The contribution notes should be under Season 1, Season 2, and Season 3. But as you see, you see nothing. I'm not sure whether those page are kept for deleted profiles anyways.Indeed they do stay in, Example still exists while the UPC 4501443780413 shows nothing. Of course this only makes the mystery of this case greater. If any one knows a deleted profile, the link to the contribution notes is: http://www.invelos.com/Forums.aspx?task=contributionnotes&type=DVD&ProfileUPC= $Profile-ID | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki | | | Last edited: by Mithi |

| Posted: | | | | That's why I asked what was showing in Profiler itself, I think it retains that info locally even after deletion, which would make sense if it looks it up online (not 100% sure as the only deleted title I've retained was deleted incorrectly and I got it reinstated in the online database).
If there's nothing showing there it might suggest these were never part of the database. | | | IVS Registered: January 2, 2002 | | | Last edited: by Lithurge |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks for the research. I can only conclude from the information you have provided that I must have added the DVDs to my collection and forgot to contribute the new profiles to the main database. Since the series is very popular in Canada and currently in its 5th season, I was very surprised not to see any profiles in the main database last night when I went to add the 4th season to my DVDP. I figured that something got corrupted. I didn't realize it was my brain!!! I will contribute my profiles and all will be well! Thanks again for the feedback. |

I thought you had at least Season 1 & 2 in the datatbase as I cloned the cast & crew for my Region 4 releases of RoD.
