Can I stop the Refresh this profile question?

Because I seldom change a profile it's quite irritating to click it away every time!
Turning it off only applies to one particular dvd.

I like the program very much; in fact I'd be happy to pay more and every year.
But, being a licensed customer, I feel I should not be forced in any way...

This will not prevent the Pop-Up, if an update for the profile you want to edit is available. It will merely stop them from showing up in the Updates list, if (and only if) the profile is completely locked.

Regarding the OP:
The Pop-Up is a service of the program.
It indicates that a newer version of the profile you want to edit is available.
When editing a profile it is usually recommended to do this from the latest available version.

In other words: There is no way (at least none that I'm aware of) to disable this feature.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
