| Posted: | | | | When clicking on the "View Contributors" icon, I sometimes see multiple image contributors, sometimes just days apart.
I assume I'm viewing the most recent contributor's image? |

Individual A - Image 1
Individual B - Image 2
Clicking on A you'll see image 1 Clicking on B you'll see image 2
One thing I have noticed in the past is that if I use tabbed browsing to view multiple image contributions then the first image I view will also show in the second tab, using the example above that means I see image 1 in both cases. Not sure if this still happens or is specific to the browser I use. | | | IVS Registered: January 2, 2002 | | | Last edited: by Lithurge |

I'm referring to the situation within DVDProfiler, usually on the general info tab, where there's an icon with "View Contributors" hover help, and clicking on that is what I'm talking about.
I've also seen instances where the profile includes images, but no user is identified as having provided the image. |

| Posted: | | | | What you see when clicking on "View Contributors" is the history for this profile. The name at the top being the contributor for the current image.
The assumption that you are having the most recent set of images is not necessarily correct. It is depending on your update-cycle if those are identical.
Profiles that have no contributors listed are usually those imported from the olden Intervocative database with no further updates since then. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Yes, regardless of how many contributions are listed in that list it's always the one at the top that's the image you see/have downloaded from the online databse.
There's no way to see what the earlier image contributions were like.
For ones where no user is listed I think that goes back to the switch over of companies from intervocative to Invelos back in 2007. I think some profiles were automatically switched from one companies database to another (after legalities were sorted) but didn't bring across contributor details.
Edit - Lewis is right that what you have downloaded in terms of latest images relates to your update cycle.
You can check by right clicking the DVD with a green arrow icon and selecting preview image changes. | | | IVS Registered: January 2, 2002 | | | Last edited: by Lithurge |
