Documentary Biographical film Romance Film Psychological thriller Drama Marriage Drama Period piece
The profile I'm working on only has "Drama" listed at the moment.
Given our standard categories, it could have some combination of ...
Drama Suspense/Thriller Romance Documentary
Your thoughts, and in what sequence? |

Personally, I would leave the profile as is. |

| Posted: | | | | Agreed... Drama is plenty for this profile. Don't know why some want to be sure they use all the genre spots for every profile. Sometimes just one is enough to tell us what we need to know. | | | Pete | | | Last edited: by Addicted2DVD |

| Posted: | | | | Usually documentaries are real life affair - interviews with actual people, etc - not a dramatization.
I would say Drama is fine for this. Perhaps romance as well as the relationship with the Jennifer Connelly character is also a fair part of it. I can sort of see Suspense/Thriller as there is that aspect of it as well. But both of these are more secondary.
But also keep in mind that genres are highly subjective. I received some No votes on adding suspense/thriller to a spy movie. So I guess some people think of suspense/thriller solely as a Psycho/The Birds type thing. | | | My DVD/Blu-ray Collection My Letterboxd Page | | | Last edited: by Rizor |

I'd even have problems with "Romance" and "Thriller", after all when entering these one might add "Musical" too, because for sure at some point someone is doing some singing (or at least whistling). | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
