| Posted: | | | | I have a profile from a russian movie ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1569364/reference ), in the existing profile 4 actors are listed. I mean, I can see that there a much more than 4 actors credited in this movie, but I cannot read the credits. So has anyone tipps how to handle russian credits? | | | Think different

| Posted: | | | | Are the credits subtitled? If so, you can use the subtitled portion of the credits for those credits. This would be the preferred option.
Are there credits in a credit block on the package in a language you do read? If so, I have used these in the past to fill in credits, notating that this is where they have come from and that the actual credits are in a non-Latin alphabet and not subtitled.
Third option, is there another profile for this film already in the database? If so, and if it has cast/crew filled out, you can clone that profile.
If none of this is available then you hit the last option. For LOCAL use only, you can copy from a website. If this is your only option, then it's purely for your database and your own information. If you have to fill out your profile this way, it's not contributable. | | | If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. -- Thorin Oakenshield | | | Last edited: by Danae Cassandra |

| Posted: | | | | Thanks for your answers. What is with credits from official site like the website of the movie itself or from the publisher? Keep it local? | | | Think different

| Posted: | | | | That I wouldn't do. Personally if it wasn't from the actual release or the official site for the film itself I would vote against it. | | | Pete |
