| Posted: | | | | First let me say I know nothing about studio/MC fields. I usually stay clear of these fields. But I got a box set today that wasn't in the database and would like to put the profiles in complete with studios/MCs. The first film I am working on (The Truth About Jane)... No Studios in opening Credits (They are all TV Movies)... In the closing Credits are.. Hearst Entertainment Orly Addison Productions So I put those both in the studio fields in order they appeared in collection (as above). Does this sound right? As for the MC not sure what to use here... here is a portion of the back cover (only place studios are mentioned on cover)... Here I see... Fisher Klingenstein Films The Stuart Goldman Co. Hearst Entertainment TGG Direct Which of these would be the MC for the release? Thanks for any and all help! | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | Doing an internet search, I found the following:
Fisher Klingenstein Films is a DVD distribution company The Stuart Goldman Co. is TV production company Hearst Entertainment is a TV syndication company...meaning they distribute features to TV stations TGG Direct is a DVD distribution company
If it were me, I would list Hearst Entertainment, Orly Addison Productions and The Stuart Goldman Co. as Studios. and the other two as MCs. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | The first film I checked (only one checked so far) don't have The Stuart Goldman Co. in the credits. So I would leave that one off the first film, only apply it to the film(s) where it is in the credits right? These are the child profiles... not the parent. Just being sure here. Thanks Martian! | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | Yea, you could probably leave it off if you aren't sure that it applies to each film. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. If it were me, I would list Hearst Entertainment, Orly Addison Productions and The Stuart Goldman Co. as Studios. and the other two as MCs. Oddly after doing all three films in the set.... The Stuart Goldman Co. is not in any of the credits of any of the films. The only place it is mentioned is in the one spot on the back cover. So I ended up not using them at all. | | | Pete |
