| Posted: | | | | I was wondering what everyone thought about the need for a child profile for the On the Waterfront Blu-ray? There is a second disc which contains two other version of the film--the differences is that they are each presented with different aspect rations than the version on disc 1. The reasons I would say yes is that 1) it is on a separate disc with a separate Disc ID, and 2) as of now the profile does not reflect all of the aspect ratios on the disc. The only reason I could imagine to say no is that there is no cast or crew difference.
Anyone have thoughts? |

In a previous contribution I had set the aspect ratio at 1.66:1 since that was the main presentation listed on the back, with the alternate presentations noted in the extras. The aspect ratio has since been changed to include 1.66:1 and 1.33:1. This, however, omits the 1.85:1 presentation. I suppose a child profile could document the 1.85:1 and 1.33:1 versions. Though should the 1.33:1 remain in the parent profile? | | | My DVD/Blu-ray Collection My Letterboxd Page |
