tools / edit user /  - add yourself or family friends.. here

right click off a title in your data.. and select watched by .. with the date

if you want to catch up and edit your library.. and can't remember when you did watch  select purchase date..

note -  what I also like to do is-  there are a lot of times during the week especially Saturday and Sundays  that I may catch a movie on TV  either cable or regular.. and i make sure I enter this date as well..  because I may have the DVD of ..of say i.e.  Groundhog Day that I own and may have watched it the week I purchased it a way back when..  but every year I seem to catch this on TV  and find myself glued to the set watching it again..  and by using my watch list gives me a good idea of when the last date was I did see it.......
In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

You should be able to sort your collection to show your 'unwatched' titles first. That's probably the closest you'll get to what you want.

Collection - Sort By - Last Watched - Ascending/Descending.

Hope this helps.

How about tags?
Watch list #1
Watch list #2
Watch list #3
etc.

Just remove the tag after you have watched the film.

This would be my suggestion.

If you don't know how to do this, it is quite easy:

Right click on the All  Owned  Ordered  Wish List area.

This will open up a window > Other > Edit Collection Categories.

You can now make your own category. Once you are finished naming it, picking out the icon etc., it will show up next to the All Owned  Ordered  Wish List area.

Good luck!

But if you create a custom collection in this case you will mess the id
I mean the "already watch" collection will start at 1 and the "to watch" will also start at one
Personally, I prefer having one collection to have a correct "numbering" of the dvd and so I would use rather tags

my 2 cents

You can set collection numbers in custom collection categories eather "Globally Unique" or "Unique within category", so no problem there.
