Given that now names are case insensitive.

UPC 83929074617 has an credit entry "Bruce Mackinnon[Bruce MacKinnon]" just alter the case for the credit as

What looks wacked is that my local as "Bruce MacKinnon[Bruce MacKinnon]" since I happen to have the case different in my local.

But wouldn't using "Credit As" to simply change the case be inappropriate given that names are case insensitive?

I believe Ken already addressed that issue, but since it wasn't update in the rules I couldn't tell you where to look.

Ken has added an automatic filter set so you can't use credited as for cases where the only difference is the case a while back ago. Though there is still some in the online database where credited as is still used for case differences only... but the next update to the cast/crew for that profile will automatically remove it.

So, to answer your question, yes it is inappropriate and it can be removed.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.
