| Posted: | | | | I have a request to change the subtitle section. Bahasa in the subtitle section needs to be changed to Bahasa Indonesian. In Bahasa Indonesian, the word Bahasa simply means "language". Bahasa is used by some English speakers to identify the language. However, there is no actual language called Bahasa. It is called Bahasa Indonesia.
It actually would be better to have two separate languages added to the subtitle section to rectify this problem. Change Bahasa to Bahasa Indonesian or just Indonesian and add Malay. Indonesian is actually a standardized register of the larger Malay language. Mayal is the official language of Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, and Coco. Malay is spoken by more than 215 million people.
They are distinct enough to be considered different languages. I teach many students from Indonesia and Malaysia and they all agree that although there are similarities they are different languages.
I live in South Korea and have various discs that list both as separate subtitle tracks. |

| Posted: | | | | Agreed. I've always thought "Bahasa" should at least be changed to Bahasa Indonesia, or Indonesian. | | | Corey |

It would be really nice to get a number of currently unrecognized languages added to DVD Profiler. Indonesian, Malay, Tamil, Telugu, Ukrainian, ... |

| Posted: | | | | I totally agree. My copy of Minority Report has 20 different subtitles but I can only enter 13. I would really love to add Tamil, Telugu and Ukrainian. |
