Hi, I have created some personal Home Movie entries on DVD Profiler 3.8 (Windows) and I have provided my own image for the covers. When I upload to DVD Profiler Online and then download to my phone, the images are lost. Can anyone advise please?

Custom covers will not show up in the online database and therefore cannot be sync-ed to a mobile device this way.

If you want the custom covers to show up on your device too, you'd need to change the connection method to "Direct"
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

I had the same issue and I figured that if the image was custom or not submitted to the DVDP database, it is not being uploafed to the users online collection. I am curious why a user's own images are not included in their personal online collection. I presume it may come down to the issue of available space on the Invelos servers? Would that be correct?

As far as I'm aware Invelos have never made a formal statement as to why they don't allow the upload of covers. Might be for the reason you state, might be that when the program was first written internet speeds weren't really suitable for uploading images directlty and this is a legacy issue, might be that they don't want to lose control of what's shown online. By only allowing images accepted into the databse they control what's there.
