Hi,

I'm using DVD profiler for windows for a few years now which I sync for ages with the DVD profiler online.
Since a while I also bought the iOS version and sync this with my DVD profiler for windows.
This way I have my collection available on my windows desktop, my iPad and the web.
This works like a charm.

I have a friend which I want to give access to my collection.
At the moment he can view my collection online. But the online possibilities to search easily for categories, or certain cast members is not possible.

I'm thinking of buying him the iOS version of DVD profiler, because viewing a collection, and doing all kinds of searches works awesome.
Would it be possible for him to sync DVD profiler iOS on his iTunes account to my DVD profiler online?

I understand I would need to give him my credentials to be able sync to the online collection. But I trust him enough to not mess up my online database.

1. Does anyone knows if this is actually possible?
2. Is it maybe disallowed from an Invelos point of view to share my credentials, or is it my own decision/responsibility if I would choose to do so?

I wasn't even aware you could sync though iTunes...

I looked in my DVD Profiler and it does offer to directly sync with the online ollectiion from the iDevice. I would assume you just enter the credentials and it will download the database in whatever state you lat uploaded it. Your friend would just have to avoid ever uploading changes and re-download occasionally.

As for your second question, I can obviously not answer that.

You can't.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.
