| Posted: | | | | Are you sure there isn't a sticker on the outer wrapping? I've seen that in the past with some exclusives. (Of course, I've seen the same UPC as well) |

| Posted: | | | | I noticed that when I went to check the contribution pages to check whether a contribution was in the works for a possible vote or a contribution of my own. I did vote but not for the steel book entry, as I have no knwledge of it. The back cover looks identical, except for the added 85, the regular BD has an added 80 to the UPC.
Maybe it is something something that will have be addressed in the future. I have noticed many things now have an added two numbers added to their UPC. Perhaps those last two numbers could be a way that Ken could attach different covers to one UPC#. When a profile has more than one cover those numbers would be used to identify the different covers and a preview window would pop up asking the user which cover they wish to download. So in this case 80 is for the standard blu and 85 is for the steelbook. |

I guess not, but since the current system can't handle it this type of situation... | | | HDTV: 52" Toshiba Regza 52XV545U AVR: Onkyo TR-707 Speakers: Paradigm Monitor 7 v6, CC-190 & Atom Monitors Subwoofer: Definitive Technology ProSub 800 BD/DVD: Oppo BDP-93 (Region Free) HD PVR: Motorola DXC3400 500GB w/ 1TB Expander BD/DVD/Game: 250GB PS3 Slim DVD/Game: 250GB XBox 360 Elite Special Edition (Black) Game: Wii Remote: Logitech Harmony One w/ PS3 Adapter WHS: Acer H341 Windows Home Server |

I thought of this too and don't see why it couldn't be. It has happened before with exclusive slipcovers, no reason it couldn't for this exclusive case. I just can't believe they share the same UPC. I freaked when I held up both versions at Target yesterday and noticed this, and instantly knew this issue and thread was coming. BTW, thanks for the scans, already locked em in. | | | Last edited: by bigdaddyhorse |

| Posted: | | | | Same issue with the Walmart disc looks like the standard edition packaging but includes a bonus disc with a sticker on front, same upc but that last upper number is 82, Steelbook is 85, standard is 80, not sure what the Best Buy is. |

Just went to look if anyone subbed this by disc ID, and see the Best Buy exclusive with what looks like a disc ID, so this will have to stay local it seems. Edit: just got back from BB, and their exclusive has it's own UPC. No idea why someone took the disc ID to contribute that one, but it kinda screws us steelbook owners. The BB upc is 013132606002, and it has an 81 above it. | | | Last edited: by bigdaddyhorse |

It doesn't really screw you steelbook owners. Because the BB edition has its own UPC, that profile can be created, and the disc ID version changed. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
