| Posted: | | | | I have turned on sharing across my network and I have connected one PC (so far) to my DVD profiler server instance. I made sure "Allow changes from remote clients" is turned on and tested this with and without a password. I am unable to edit existing items and it is impossible to add new. Icons/menu items related to this are all greyed out. I am using the latest version of DVD Profiler, at the time of writing 3.8.2, build 1542. |

The "edit"-opinion only relates to some personal-data and watched-events IIRC, not really changing the profiles itselves. Unfortunately this is the full extent of functionality you see. cya, Mithi | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

| Posted: | | | | For getting "Full Access" to the remote database all you'd have to do is to allow remote access to the database-folder from Windows Explorer on the Host-Computer and then point the DVDProfiler installation(s) on the Client-Computer(s) to this "shared" database.
This variant allows full access for all clients but only one at a time. When trying to connect more than 1 client to the database DVDProfiler will crash. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
