I just picked up the movie A New Day in Old Sana'a, which is UPC 643519119896

However that UPC points to a profile of the movie Gaza Strip in the database.

But I checked the notes and it's a pre-release profile that's never been updated.  Also Googeling the UPC gives me only hits for Sana'a.

Can I change the profile to match the film that I have in my hand that matches the UPC?  Since I think that the UPC changed between the pre-release and the actual release.

BTW: Gaza Strip is released by the same company, there's an ad for it inside Sana'a and it lists the UPC for Gaza as 643519100696.

I'd say change it.

But be prepared to withdraw if someone owns this and objects.
You might ask this (hypothetical) person then to confirm the UPC.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

1 reason I don't like pre-release contributions.

Yep, sounds like a plan.

Wouldn't be the first time a company has re-used an old OOP UPC. I can't recall examples, but know I've seen and heard of them in these forums. Or maybe one is an error, just saying re-using isn't unheard of.

Code Red did it with that one, but you certainly know already because I'm almost certain you have it.

The UPC is the same of one of the Fred Williamson's movie they have released previously.
