I have multiple movies that have only been released on VHS. Such as "A Tiger's Tale" '87 Kelly Preston, Ann-Margret. Is there any support for such movies? A plug in or anything? Is there anything planned for VHS support in the future? If not is there a way to manually enter them from IMDB or something?

I would love for this great program to catalog ALL of my movies not just those on DVD or Bluray.

I'm sorry if this topic has already been covered somewhere else. I was unable to find it.
Thank you

VHS, or any other media can be added as "Custom Media Type", those are not contributible and therefore the data will not be found in the maindatabase. You can extract the Cast and Crew data from other profiles of the title though.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Yes, just add a profile manually and fill in the appropriate information. Assigning those profiles a Custom Media Type (found under 'Tools') as Lewis_Prothero mentioned is a good way to keep things cleanly separated.

Thank you for the quick response! Unfortunately it doesn't answer my question.

The problem I have is - these movies are ONLY ON VHS! They have NOT been released on DVD or any other format.

2 examples are: "A tiger's tale" 1987 w/ kelly preston & ann-margret and "bank robber" 1993 w/ patrick dempsey & olivia d'abo

Please tell me how to enter VHS ONLY movies like these.
Thank you again

Just read the last post. Thank you Mithi! That answers my question. It's going to be a lot of work putting them in but it CAN be done!

Step 1:
Create a new Media Type and name it VHS

Step 2:
Create a manual profile (HowTo is linked in Mithi's post above)

Step 3:
Enter the required data into the blank profile either by
a) Copying the data from film credits (recommended and most accurate way)
b) Copying the data from another database (e.g. IMDb)
c) Let a tool scrape the data for you (Cast/Crew Edit 2 would do the job)
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

There is one other method...download a profile for the movie you want, via 'Add by Title'.  Convert that profile to a manual profile, change the media type to the custom VHS media type, and correct/change the items that are specific to the VHS version.

@TheMadMartian:
That won't work in this case, as the OP clearly stated his titles have been released on VHS only - ever. So there's no way they could have legitimately ended up in the Invelos database.

A Tiger's Tale was released in Spain on DVD under the title "Un tigre en la almohada".
