| Posted: | | | | Trying to add a DVD or accessing the Invelos server, anything requiring a database connection within DVDP, on Windows 8 will not happen. Is there some trick for using DVDP within Windows 8? Thanks... |

| Posted: | | | | Might be related to User authorization issue. Make sure user definitions are consistent across all systems (same user names and passwords). Also check your WORKGROUP / HOMEGROUP setup and file sharing options and permissions. Can't give any specifics, but if you check to see if all makes sense to you, it will probably be set up correctly. Maybe there is a typing error or some setting wrong somewhere. Often, you will need to reboot clients and/or servers after settings changes before things settle down, at least in my experience. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. | Posted: | | | | I'm running DVDP on a windows 8 machine without any issues. Are you using 3d party security tools? Did you check your firewall settings? Is DVDP allowed to access the internet? | | | Thorsten |

| Posted: | | | | I'm running windows 8, all the updates, latest hardware no problems from the get go.
On the touch screen under settings, I did a search on HomeGroup and WorkGroup and the DVDProfiler was not listed any place.
I would try removiing it and restoring it. | | | We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own. Ineptocracy, You got to love it. "Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power." - Abraham Lincoln | | | Last edited: by Srehtims |
