Ok as I dont have a BR player on my laptop any one out there that can build a profile of this release?
It should be a 2 disc box set/ mullti pack I would assume the disc ID's would be the same as the stand alone BR's but I can't check that to build the Parent.
Helping hand would be appreciated.

| Posted: | | | | This is why the program should allow contributors to type in the Disc Id.
I can copy the Disc Id on the voting page and paste it to the "Select by UPC" field - would it be that difficult to allow contributions to be typed in?
Personally, I don't watch movies on my computer and will not buy a Blu-ray capable one just to contribute data.
The ability to type in Disc Id data will also take care of the not infrequent times the computer can't read the Disc Id. | | | Last edited: by Kathy |

| Posted: | | | | I don't remember which one it is... but I remember reading about a plugin that takes the disc IDs from the parent profile and create child profiles with them. I want to say that it is maybe bulk edit... but I can't say for sure.
can anyone here confirm my memory? | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | Would this work? You can down load the existing profiles then use the BulkEdit build profiles by ID, get rid of the profiles you down loaded, then the ones you built by ID and attach the to the parent profile.
It will, it wo9uld be useful for those with a disc player. | | | We don't need stinkin' IMDB's errors, we make our own. Ineptocracy, You got to love it. But you still need a parent-profile with the Disc-IDs present in the first place to do so. For local purposes one could load the two stand-alone profiles, making child-profiles with BulkEdit, detaching those children from the stand-alones and then attach them to the newly created Box-Set-Parent. But as you can't be sure that those Disc-IDs are really the right one, I think you should abstain from contributing it, making the whole operation kind of moot. Thats why I appeal to all people with BD-ROM: Submit Disc-IDs! Even if you literally only enter the UPC, title and the Disc-IDs, that would give others the ground to build on. cya, Mithi | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki | | | Last edited: by Mithi |

And how would he verify that his box set contains the same disc IDs without a BD drive? This is exactly why fake disc ID contributions should NEVER be allowed. | | | First registered: February 15, 2002 |

| Posted: | | | | I agree... if it is the parent profile, that is one thing... but I definitely wouldn't take it from any other existing profile. | | | Pete |

This is exactly why fake disc ID contributions should NEVER be allowed. I have no idea how to use things like BulkEdit but with DVDs you can read the Disc Id number right on the DVD. I thought Blu-rays might be the same but I just checked a few of them and I don't see the number. So, my idea would only work with DVDs. |
