Hello there.  I recently upgraded to the desktop version of DVD Profiler after using the iOS version since it's release.  Anyways with the desktop version I am now able to have child profiles.  With these child profiles on the box sets with different titles in them (ie Alien Anthology, Bond 50) I found that the cover images used for all the titles in the child profile were the same for each movie.  I decided to change the cover images for these titles in each set so they would represent the actual movie.  For example the Alien film in the child profile for the Alien Anthology set was changed to have the cover art for the individual Blu Ray release.  This was done for each individual title in some of my box sets.

Now once this was all done for the sets I wanted to change the cover art for, I backed up my database and uploaded it to my online profile.  I then downloaded my online profile to the iOS app but none of the cover images that I changed were changed on the iOS app.  So I was wondering how I would go about getting the changed cover images from the desktop version to be applied to the iOS version as well.

Thanks in advance for any help that may be provided.  I am really happy with the desktop app but still a bit overwhelmed with all it has to offer over the iOS app.

If you sync your iOS app with your desktop collection (instead of your online collection), then you should see the images you downloaded for your child profiles.

If you sync your iOS app with the online database, you only get the covers that are in the online database. You changed the covers on your PC to covers that are not in line with the contribution rules for covers and can therefore not be contributed to the online database.
To get the covers that are on your PC to sync with your iOS app, you will need to change the connection type of your database to one that syncs with the PC and not the online database. That way your locally added covers will sync to the app.

Thanks a bunch.  Connecting to the local database on my MacBook Pro worked and got the results I was looking for on my iOS devices.  I guess I was just thinking that uploading my desktop database online would upload any local changes I had made.  I still was not able to sync my iOS device with my desktop database via my network for some reason.  I am guessing it has something to do with running the desktop version in Crossover on my Mac.  However, syncing with my desktop database via the internet worked.  I figure this way is a bit slower but it worked nonetheless.  Thanks again for the help and information.
