When checking on the pending updates, I noticed that the Blu-ray profile for The Bourne Legacy is listed under "B" yet the DVD child profile of the very same title is listed under "T". Why?

Because the titles are listed under your personal sort title despite their actual title.

Your child profile sort title probably starts with "The"

If you create a new profile the program doesn't automatically remove the 'The' from the sort title in your local database. However, it does get removed if you were to download the same profile later.

It's caught me out a few times too.

Yeah, though the problem is, I have the auto lock on so I think any update bypasses it. Will just have to remember to unlock those profiles.

I don't believe the sort title is downloaded anyway. That field is up to the individual user to maintain, so you will have to remove 'the' manually from the sort field.

If someone downloads a profile, any 'The' or 'An' is is automatically removed before the sort title is created. For some reason, when creating a new profile on the local system, it is left as is.

Ah, so it's a big in the program. In any case, I'll keep that in mind when creating a new profile. Thanks everyone!
