| Posted: | | | | Hi Invelos,
Sorry to bug you, but I'm getting lots of problems now, since updating from 3.8 to 3.8.2. Can you help me out please?
1) Everytime I start DVD Profiler, it loads-up, and then says I must run the DVD Database Repair Utility. I run it. It does its stuff, then as soon as I open DVD Profiler again, it asks me to run the repair utility again. It's getting mightily annoying, especially when I click on "No", and everything seems ok.
2) When trying to link my iPhone (3GS, 32gb model, running iOS6) with DVD Profiler 3.8.2 to sync them together and update each other, I get an error message: "Access violation at address 00726253 in module 'DVDPRO.EXE'. Read of address 00000008." I can then click "OK" to get rid of the message, and nothing happens - good or bad. DVD Profiler still seems to function. No errors seem to creep into my DVD database. I can still save any work I've done.
So, what's causing this error, why, and more importantly, how can I get DVD Profiler working once again, please? DVD Profiler is being run on an Acer Extensa 5220 laptop PC, running Windows Vista Home Edition Basic, if that's of any help/relevance.
** EDIT: This second problem seems to be fixed now. Had iPhone connected to laptop with USB cable (to charge it), and it seems that is what causes the problem. Removing the USB cable, and then updating the iPhone DVD Profiler database seems to work ok now. **
Thanks in advance.

| Posted: | | | | For the first problem, try starting the program without plugins. Keep the 'CTRL' key pressed, and start the program. You'll get a popup asking if you want a normal startup or a diagnostic startup. Select diagnostic, and keep all 3 options checked. Can you let us know if the problem persists? |

| Posted: | | | | Hi Folks,
Apologies for the delay in replying. Doing what "marcelb7" suggested, seems to solve the problem. What does this mean? Do I need to startup DVD Profiler each time, in this same manner, or should doing it once, cure the problem?
Sorry if this sounds like I'm being dense. Thanks again for the help though. It is greatly appreciated!
