| Posted: | | | | It would seem that one of your cover images seems to be kaput. To find the brkomen image do the following: First make a backup without cover images. That should work. Now flag the first hundred profiles in your collection list (for speed's sake take the space bar) and backup only flagged. If that works, the cover in question is not in the selection. Press Ctrl-Shift-U to de-flag everything and flag the next hundred profiles. If you found the block that contains the image, trap it further by making smaller blocks. Once you found the profile, simply clear the covers in the Edit Window. Backup should work now. After that re-create the images by Online -> Refresh DVD from Invelos -> Refresh Images Only HTH | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | Problem seem to be the cast/crew database with photos. When I uncheck that the backup works fine. How do I clear that so I can refresh? Thanks. |

First thing you should try, if not already done, is a database-repair. Either by Tools -> Options -> Utilities -> Repair Profile Database or by running the Database Repair Utility from the DVD Profiler directory directly when Profiler is not running. If that doesn't help, make a Backup without these pictures, restore that to another database and see if everything is in order. If it is simply delete the old database. cya, Mithi | | | Mithi's little XSLT tinkering - the power of XML --- DVD-Profiler Mini-Wiki |

cya, Mithi I tried your first suggestion both ways but I still get the same error. I backed up the current database without the cast/crew pics, created a new database and restored using the backup. All looks good but how do I put back the cast/crew pics? Thanks again. | | | Last edited: by grod777 |

| Posted: | | | | I was able to get past my last error of loading cast photo for Edita Brychta by doing a repair database and selecting custom, then only checking off box for Remove Unused and Cast Members. Not sure what that does exactly but the backup is about half the size of a previous backup. |

How can I refresh cast photos? Where are they stored? I cannot seem to find them. The message you receive indicates that the image is being skipped - the backup should complete without problems. The images are in the database. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

The images are in the database. Just curious to know how I can refresh those photos? |

Just curious to know how I can refresh those photos? there is no 'refresh' you have to replace each picture you want to change yourself. | | | Paul |

there is no 'refresh'
you have to replace each picture you want to change yourself. I would imagine that when I scan the Barcode of the disc all this information is downloaded from the servers. So since there is no refresh I would have to remove the disc and add it again so it can download the data again. I tried to locate that actress by doing a search in DVD Profiler but did not find it, so I do not understand why it could not locate the cast photo if the cast member was not in the database. Thanks for all the help though. I have not really dug deep into all this software has to offer. |

| Posted: | | | | The DVD Profiler online database provides infos of the DVD like title, studios, cast, audio tracks and so on. It also provides cover scans. It does not, however, provide pictures of the actors and crew members. It never has. Whatever pictures you have in there are either put there by yourself or maybe you used the Headshot Database project | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online
