When I go to 'Databases' /'Update Database' and the app is 'updating profiles' the app crashes. It's installed on a iPad2  with iOS 6.0 and DVD Profiler version 1.1.3. Does anybody has any idea how to solve this? Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

At which stage does the app crash (Connecting, Sending changes, Reading database, copying profiles or copying images) ?

hi Silentbob,

The app crashes when it's starting to update the profiles (more or less immediatly after checking the connection and updates).

Okay, sounds like you have a corrupt profile.
Try running a database repair on your desktop version and then sync again. If that doesn't work, temporarily disable syncing images.

Hi Silentbob,

I don't have a desktop version! I just want to update the database in the iPad with new dvd's covers etc. that were not available when I bought Invelos (app. 6 months ago). Is it safe to remove the app without loosing the database or is the database sync. with icloud so I can restore the databae if necessary (I have no idea)?

Oh, I completely misunderstood your problem. Sorry.
I didn't even know that it is possible to update profiles from the app itself. How do you do that ?

If you remove the app, you will loose the database. iCloud isn't supported yet (and I don't know if there are any plans to support it in the future). Currently the only way to sync is with the desktop version. The next update will also support syncing with the Invelos online database.

You could get the free desktop app and try to sync your database. If you are able to sync your profiles to the desktop app, you can run a database repair, update the profiles and then sync back.

I am having the same problem on my iPhone 4S running IOS 6.0.1 as well.  When I tried to view my purchases in the App Store app on my iPhone by going to App Store --> Updates --> Purchases, I get the spinning wheel for about a minute and App Store would just close (crash) returning me to the home screen.

I'd suggest to open a Support Ticket
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
