| Posted: | | | | I recently preorded "Heat - Premium Collection" from amazon.de The movie will be releases on 07.09.2012
I searched the DVD-Profiler-Database for this title but found no entry. Then i converted the asin to an ean number and searched after that number to but found nothing again (EAN: 5-051890-008725). I created a profile with the given data from amazon.de. When i then want to contribute it showed up, that there is an existing profile for that ean. How can that be?
Heres a screenshot: [img src="http://www.ingo-cernohorsky.de/sonst/heat.jpg " /]
What to do? |

| Posted: | | | | I can reproduce this. When trying to add it doesn't find the profile. When contributing it shows the compare screen. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | Seems the profile is currently "Approved", but not yet "Released".
Problem should be gone tomorrow. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Problem should be gone tomorrow. That was my first thought, too. But then i saw the date of the last contribution as DJ Doena already mentioned. |

There is no profile anymore, just contribution notes. Elwood Blues last approved contribution was the removal of the profile from the database. | | | Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played. | Posted: | | | | Then probably the last change to this profile was a deletion request (would make sense from what I read in the notes).
In this case the profile is not available for download anymore, but for some reason the notes remain stored. Had this with another profile once too. The only problem now is that your contribution will be pending for about 4 days, even though it is a "new" profile. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! | Posted: | | | | That's what I would do.
Contrib notes as usual though. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | But it's not just the notes though. When you try to contribute you can see the previous data in comparison to your own. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | I believe when a profile is "removed" due to wrong EAN, wrong location or similar, the profile is not actually removed from the online database - only removed from the index of profiles downloaded to your local system.
The new data will completely overwrite the old profile, though, so please go ahead and submit it. | | | Last edited: by Exiled |
