| Posted: | | | | Sometimes people are right in their corrections and sometimes they are wrong - and sometimes they are asking me questions about my submitted changes.
How do I reply to these corrections, without editing my initial post? |

| Posted: | | | | Without editing your initial post?... I would use a PM to the people you need to reply to. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | I just PM them to make sure they see it.
If the person gives a NO vote and does not respond and you think they are wrong or does not alter their vote I just add the evidence that the NO vote is questionable in the contribution notes |

| Posted: | | | | I have lost faith in voting, completely. Latest experience: I voted NO to changing the release date of a BluRay disk to 2002, replacing 2007 (Harry Potter), explained my NO-vote, but was not "heard". In 2002 the BD was not even in prototype. (Which I explained). | | | Karsten |

| Posted: | | | | DVDP is man-made and will never be perfect, but it's far better than the other systems out there. If you see a mistake, make the change and contribute with an explanation and 99.9% of the time it will get corrected and the rest of us will be happy to have it. | | | Marty - Registered July 10, 2004, User since 2002. |

Mistaken declines happen also. I just had one with no reason, it had no NO votes and it was a simple change that was within the rules. But I agree the voting helps the screeners, mistakes will happen no matter what. If something aganst the rules gets through, just fix the contribution. |
