| Posted: | | | | Sorry if this is a known issue or discussed elsewhere, but my search on "3D" does not seem to be working.
I've noticed hardly any 3D Blu-Rays in my collection actually have that checkbox checked. And I've seen notes on approved contributions that say that change was part of their submission. Is it my database that isn't getting updated or is nobody's database getting updated? |

| Posted: | | | | Your local database doesn't get updated automatically.
For doing this you'd have to use DVDProfiler menu: Online -> Refresh Updated Profiles... | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | I have noticed that to. Movieman had a lot of approved contributions in early June with added 3D and color information. At least some of those never appeared as updates for me. |

| Posted: | | | | My collection appears to be updating correctly. If you have any specific examples, please open a support ticket and list the locality/EAN for them. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

| Posted: | | | | I have just checked my collection and I had the same issue. Despite the fact I'm regularly updating my local database, updates for profiles like Tron, Coraline or PotC 4 had not been automatically applied. After I manually refreshed them, the 3D checkboxes were set. Have you tried manually updating the corresponding profiles? | | | Bye, Elwood |

| Posted: | | | | It looks like I can manually update them, but that really isn't the point. If this isn't being updated it makes me wonder what else isn't being updated. Its also an issue that needs to be fixed. And they can go ahead and add a checkbox for D-Box motion codes while they are at it I will try to get a support ticket opened, but I have a lot of 3D titles and the issue seems to affect all of them. EDIT: Oh, I misread your post Elwood, I guess you mean manually update the individual titles. I can try that, but its still an issue. | | | Last edited: by turls |

| Posted: | | | | I just tested this with Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs 3D Blu-Ray. If I do online, refresh updated profiles from Invelos, it doesn't seem to detect that Ice Age has had updates. If I do onine, refresh DVD from Invelos, which only does one at time, it detects the difference and checks the BluRay 3D box. |

| Posted: | | | | I've had an issue where it appears the update I accepted when I previewed the change never got applied. I tried 3 or 4 times before giving up and manually making the change to the profile which wouldn't download to my PC.
And no, the fields were not locked.
Next day I did this with some other profiles and it worked - I think. Although I didn't check if the profile was different afterwards..
and this wasn't the 3d checkbox - it was cast settings. | | | Paul |

| Posted: | | | | This problem has been randomly afflicting me since at least 3.7. With the current version, it now refuses to update covers. No errors, they simply don't update. I have to manually delete my covers and then refresh covers to get the job done.
And when I say randomly, I don't mean infrequently. And now the covers issue happens every time. I still have problems manually editing a profile and getting the edits to save. I have to selectively edit and use copy-n-paste to preserve my edits, repeating until they "take".
I understand that Ken can't reproduce this, but I frankly don't think that he is trying very hard. If my environment is special, give me a special debug build that checks the results of saves (not just the return values of saves, but re-get the data from the db and compare what is there with what you told it to write).
There have been several people report these types of problems. | | | -fred |
