| Posted: | | | | Hi, Just tried to save my Database on my laptop, and ticked the "Check database files before backup", but up comes an error message: "DBISAM Engine Error # 11013 Access denied to table 'collection'." I can save the database if that box is unticked, but otherwise, I'm deeply confused. Your help would be appreciated. Pooch |

| Posted: | | | | Had this error once too. It disappeared after a shutdown of DVDProfiler followed by a Database Repair from the Windows start menu. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

It's been driving me mad. I just completed a fresh install of the latest DVDProfiler onto a new hdd. I then restored my data from a backup drive which was okay for a few days and then DVDProfiler wouldn't back up without throwing up this error message. It only returned a suggestion to use the repair option and I tried it several times with still the same result. Thank you for that tip. At last! It now works correctly. I couldn't find an aswer anywhere. I ended up doing a google search which pointed back to the tiltle of this thread. | | | Veni, Vidi, Visa, Vista, Voodoo, Vino I came, I saw, I bought, I installed Vista, I'm now haunted, I need wine

| Posted: | | | | what I have discovered over the past few months ( since 3.8 introduced) is that somehow my thumbnail images have to be manually 'fixed' (database repair) before I do a backup .. But if I don't do the check box ( hence no database repair) .. it will do a back up ,.. regardless ... | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird.
