| Posted: | | | | Since I updated to version 3.8.1, the application hangs, depending on the peformed action. For instance: - when trying to add a new profile (dvd). The first time, new profiles were downloaded and the application hung during installation. Now it immediately hangs. - when trying to open the option page - when trying to edit a profile - etc...
I tryed to repair the database and to restore it from a backup, but it did not help. dvd profiler does not work anymore. What can I do? |

| Posted: | | | | It's quite likely that DVDProfiler doesn't hang, but is merely waiting.
Sometimes it happens that Win7 doesn't show the active subwindow of a program in the foreground, for the inexperienced user it then looks like the program would hang. To get it working "again" click on the DVDProfiler icon in the taskbar, this should move the correct sub-window into focus. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | No, it's not a 'hidden window'. The app hangs. Only since the 3.8.1 update. The last profile refresh decided that my existing child profiles, which had been downloaded using Profiler in the first place, were all wrong and proposed new ones that I cannot now edit. | | | Prince Charming: You! You can't lie! Where is Shrek? Pinocchio: Well, uh, I don't know where he's not. Prince Charming: You don't know where Shrek is? Pinocchio: On the contrary, Prince Charming: So you do know where he is! Pinocchio: I'm possibly more or less not definitely rejecting the idea that I undeniably do or do not know where he shouldn't probably be. If that indeed wasn't where he isn't! |
