I  received my copy from amazon a couple of days ago.  When I received it, there was a gold toned lenticular cover attached to the box on the outside of the plastic wrap.

Is this the way most of them came,or is this something odd?

I did not get this film...yet, but it seems you are not the only one.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Started a thread already and nobody replied...

If you want to submit it, by all means. It should be noted that for the database, you'll need to make sure the banner is not shown, otherwise it will look odd.

I've seen one of these at my shop.  All the others had no slip covers.  (For what it's worth)

I was at several stores yesterday (Best Buy, Hastings, Wal-Mart) — and all of them stocked Mirror Mirror with and without the 3-D Lenticular on the front.

BTW, it should be noted this is not a slip cover, it's just a piece of cardboard attached to the wrapping on the front. I've seen this done a couple of times, I think one of the Wrong Turn sequels (might've been the fourth movie, can't remember) and the other was one of the Dollhouse season sets.

Never understood the point of this. It'd be one thing if it fit underneath the clear plastic on the front cover but it's too big to do that...

I've also seen this on a few titles (Wrong Turn 3 was one of them for sure). FWIW, I was just at Best Buy and they had 2 copies left, both with the cover thing. I'm guessing they are an alternative slip-cover, and will only be on the first runs (Later runs may have another cover thing with an offer for tickets or vudu or something).

I've also seen them on re-issues of other titles already (Usual Suspects), so it should probably be noted if they appeared on early copies or not. I don't recall seeing them on early copies of Usual Suspects at all.

Yeah, it sure won't look odd with the border cut off at the top.

If I understand correctly this picture can not be used as a front cover for the case because it is too big. In this case I don't think that it should be uploaded as front cover but is more something like a special feature.
Recently bought films:

If there is only a front then I would not consider it to be a slip cover.

No, not a slip cover, per se, but if it was the first release I would say that it should be the database image--if a good scan can be performed.  This is like the Universal Legacy Series DVDs that had a back cover slip over the rather plain back of the case, or any number of box sets with artwork done similarly.

We got Mirror Mirror in the day it was released with no card.  Only got the one with the card a few days later.
