Why do I get 0 entries on my iPhone app when I syncronize with the dvdprofiler? Is there something wrong, and how can I get back my entries on my iPhone??

Do your collection types (owned, ordered, wish list) show on your iPhone?

Do you get a collection count? I've had a blank list happen a few times when I update, the collection count shows correctly but when I access the owned list it's blank. Re-synching fixes it every time so far. Personally never checked the ordered tab to see if that's also blank.

I retried and now they all show. It said 1159 entries, but when I tried to look at the collection it showed nothing. But now it's correct, must be a glitch.

Last night, on the main screen on my iPhone, it said 'Owned 0 total, 4 new releases'.  When I clicked on it , what appeared to be the entire collection scanned so far (2003 items) showed.  I did another sync and everything disappeared.  Now, when I start the app on my iPhone, a message pops up saying "Connect and update your collection?".  I click yes.  Click Update.  Connecting check.  Sending changes None.  Reading database bar progresses until full.  Copying profiles starts and then the app quickly quits and I am back at my main iPhone screen

Please run a database repair on your PC's copy of DVD Profiler, then try the update again.  You can run the repair via the Tools->Options->Utilities menu.

I am also having this same problem but it has been happening for months.  My DVD Profiler app has the database wiped out for IOS and it won't come back.  The only change was with the software update of 3.8.0 (for PC), every time I add a new movie on my PC the DVD is now added to the "Ordered" category instead of "Owned", in fact the "Owned" category doesn't exist anymore.

When I synced my iPhone today after repairing the database, I now see the 2 newest additions in my database under the "Ordered" section, but not one item in the "All" or "Owned" categories.  This is frustrating as it renders the app on my iPhone useless.

One last thing, I completely un-installed the app off my iPhone, then re-installed it.  Repaired my database on my PC and tried syncing again.  None of these things helped.

It sounds like the Owned collection has been hidden.  To change it back, select Tools->Edit Collection Categories.  Uncheck the option at the bottom to hide the Owned collection.
