"Commentary" text subtitles are for when an Audio or Video Commentary have optional subtitles which play for what's spoken during the commentary track(s). Many Sony releases have these as set-up options, sometimes for several different languages. Some releases have them, but they must be manually chosen...usually the 2nd or 3rd English subtitle on the disc. "Trivia" text subtitles will play facts, quotes, etc.. when the movie plays.
