FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that.
Stop adding UNIT crew! They're invalid credits. Stop it! |

Or at the very least all that one can contribute in the area they are comfortable contributing. Like it could need work on crew data... but I for one will not work on crew. I did something minimally similar when the formatting styles for the overview came out. For me, at least, it wasn't about padding, it was that I was changing them already, I've never cared to lock many of my fields because I may miss something someone else caught and I ignored it by skimming the update, but I then didn't want them to revert every time I accidentally forget to check after a new contribution is going to override. I'll probably have to lock my color/b&w field after setting it for that same reason: a bunch of new contributions that do NOT include that change. Nice to see the new-feature rules created/updated. I've locked alot of mine today, just so when the new color/B&W is approved, some will have the incorrect info for cast, crew, media co. that I've been cleaning up in the DVD's that I own and I don't want to accidently accept incorrect info from the database again. | | | | Last edited: by ateo357 |
