Collections total and genre totals are incorrect

The collection total is more than twice the number of DVDs I have.

Filtering by the genre, science fiction, reports that I have 1264 in that genre.  I actually have about 60.

The error in the science fiction total is mostly, or possibly completely, the reason my collection total is wrong.

Today I ran the DVDProDVDrepair program, with no improvement.

Please help.

It sounds as if one of your Count As is off.

Right-click on the list header and then View Columns -> Count As

Now sort by Count As descending and look if any profile shows more than "1". If so, edit and corretc it in ther Personalization screen.

Thank you.  That was the problem.  Somehow one of my DVDs had a Count As of 1200!

I have no clue how that happened.
