when I go to contribute a new disk profile to the database, the pop-up box where it asks doesn't allow me to check mark "include cover scans".  why is this option unavailable to me?

1) Stupid Question first: You do have scans attached to the profile right?

2) I don't recall if it doesn't offer the option because it will take whatever is attached.  The check box is to prevent overwriting existing scans, but if it is the first submission there is nothing to overwrite so no need to check the box.
Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!

The box should show up even if the contribution in brand new. I have no idea why the tick box isn't showing up for you. Have you tried a database repair?

Just to be sure, you have added both a front and back cover scan to the profile?  DVDP won't allow you to contribute cover scans unless both images have been added.

Although you can use the same picture for front and back cover, if you don't have a back cover scan available.
