I know it is early but better start now before the official release and I would like to start a discution here about what to contribute in the new Feature and format section in wich we can now say if the movie is 2D, 3D and Anaglyphic 3D. My proposition is simple.

If the Blu-ray disc has both 2D and 3D and that the 2D version can be played on regular 2D settings meaning no 3D TV, no Blu-ray player 3D and or 3D receiver, 2D and Blu-ray 3D must be checked.

If the Blu-ray 3D disc cannot play on regular 2D equipments only the Blu-ray 3D should be checked (meaning that the disc is profiled to be playable on Blu-ray 3D player only)

Exemples: Tangled by Walt Disney (UPC 786936810653) the 3D copy can only be played if the BD3D player is connected to 3D equipments if not the disc cannot be played at all in this case the Blu-ray 3D should be the only one checked on the main profil note that there is also a child profil for the 2D version.

On an other hand take the movie "Monster House" UPC 043396359109 has both a 2D and a 3D version of the movie but even if played on a regular 2D equipment you can still see the 2D version of the movie. In this case  both the 2D and Blu-ray 3D should be checked.

I think that in this proposal at least the data base will be more that accurate for the different profils

This discussion is better held in the Contribution Rules Committee forum.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.
