| Posted: | | | | I am putting location into my 1700+ discs and am finding that a lot of profiles created by upc and name do not have any 'Main Feature' disc associated with them in Personal Information.
Is there a tool that can be used to be sure that ALL discs have at least a MAIN FEATURE. Why would it create a profile without a Main Feature disc?
Thanks DSig |

| Posted: | | | | Various reasons for this to occur; The person entering the profile did not have a DVD drive in the computer (nowadays maybe a Blu-ray drive) If the profile is for a box-set the disc entries rightly belong in the child profiles It may be a pre-release profile (created prior to the discs even being available) and never updated
The Database Query plugin with allow you to find all profiles in your local database that are missing disc entries. | | | Registered: February 10, 2002 |

The Database Query plugin with allow you to find all profiles in your local database that are missing disc entries. And once you find them and set flags, you could use BulkEdit: Collection\Flagged\Add Disc. Later you could then Tools\BulkEdit\Load Flagged after setting the checkbox for Disc, Location and Slot to make the Location/Slot updates. Then "Save Validated Changes." | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! BDPFrog. | | | Last edited: by mediadogg |

The Database Query plugin with allow you to find all profiles in your local database that are missing disc entries. Most all of these are single disc items. But can I update them with Database Query? Haven't tried yet. Just been playing with DBQuery Thanks DSig |

This would have been interesting. Could you talk a little more about this. For example how would you set flags for all without a Main Feature disc? Is BulkEdit a plugin? Thanks DSig |

In DB Query, select the Discs tab. Enter 0 in the first field, leave other blank. Select Run Query button. Result is a list of profiles with no discs assigned. At the bottom of the DB Query screen is a save flag set button. Select it and provide a name.
