U : No Material Likely To Offend Or Harm
Do we include the detail 'No Material Likely To Offend Or Harm' when putting the rating into profiler?
I believed this was a general term for the 'Universal' rating. But the BBFC website simply says 'Suitable for all'. |

| Posted: | | | | It sounds like it is the general explanation of the rating rather than a rating detail. The MPAA equivalents, that we don't enter, would be:
G — General Audiences. All Ages Admitted PG — Parental Guidance Suggested. Some Material May Not Be Suitable For Children PG-13 — Parents Strongly Cautioned. Some Material May Be Inappropriate For Children Under 13R — Restricted. Children Under 17 Require Accompanying Parent or Adult Guardian NC-17 — No One 17 and Under Admitted | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. We will teach it to them again. Though it take a thousand years, we will be free. - Citizen G'Kar | | | Last edited: by TheMadMartian |

| Posted: | | | | So do I. Saw a similar case recently with a UK E "rating" (which in fact is not a rating at all: Exempt). |

It's the UK equvilant to rated G for General Audiences, not really a detail. Details are why it's rated that way, not that it's unlikely to offend. |

| Posted: | | | | Another one in agreement that this is a general description, similarly for other ratings like
PG: General viewing but some scenes may be unsuitable for young children
is simply a defintion of what PG means | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |
