| | Posted: | | | | Once again looking for help in determing a common name. This time, looking for the common name of Anthony Ianni/Anthony A. Ianni/Tony Ianni/Toni Ianni. Credited as both Art Director and Production Designer for his credits in the system. I was able to confirm a few of his credits myself, so this one shouldn't take too long. As always, any help one could toss this way would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! Can someone re-check Saw 4? My local, which I did not audit for the blu-ray, says Anthony credited as Tony for that one, but different here. My computer drive won't play blu-ray anymore and the TV is in use by others. I think I audited the dvd and took this info from that audit before selling off the dvd and deleting it from my collection, which is why my cast and crew are locked locally. |

About a year ago, I verified a credit incorrectly just going by my own previous audit (it was probably one of those cases where I started to type the name and saw it come up, not exactly the same, but very similar and didn't realize there was a difference), so since then (and most of the time previously I had done this anyway) I always physically pull the disc and double check, just to be 100% certain. So anytime you see something verified by me, I've visually verified it before posting the credit. Just a little safer for me apparently that way.  Thanks to everyone so far. It's closer than I thought it was going to be. Shockingly, the IMDB mined variant of Anthony A. Ianni doesn't have a single confirmed credit yet (sarcasm) | | | | The night is calling. | | Posted: | | | | So I just checked my profile of Saw 4 BD vs what is online... (I have upc# 031398222002 if that helps).
Seeing how mine said David Hackl was the director, and I can see that's wrong from the cover, I trust the existing profile (guess I never did audit this film, I wouldn't blow it that bad). Plus the wrong sound people and a few other differences I wanted to make sure were right before adding them to my local.
I see 3 OMB credits in the writing section not on mine, are these correct credits or IMDB guesses? I know they often give omb credits to sequels for no reason other than expecting them to be there, which they often times are not.
The profile also has 2 editors, Kevin Greutert (who's on mine) and Brett Sullivan. Are both listed in the open credits together, or is this another improper credit for additional editing? | | | | Last edited: by bigdaddyhorse |

Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure: Anthony Ianni | | | My one wish for the DVD Profiler online database: Ban or remove the disc-level profiles of TV season sets. It completely screws up/inflates the CLT.
FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that.
