| Posted: | | | | I have just purchased the Ice Age complete collection (non Bluray), subsequently downloading the profiles. On looking up the profiles for the individual films, the rear cover scans are from the BluRay collection. What I would like to ask is this: should these scans be corrected for the normal DVD issue? |

| Posted: | | | | I have just checked the disc ID's - the ones from my collection are completely different from the downloaded profiles. |

| Posted: | | | | Voyager having different disc ids is not new. Do the existing backs have upcs on them and are they different from the UPC of the profile. Do your backs have upcs and do they match the profile upc | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

| Posted: | | | | These are probably the same discs used in the individual releases, just re-packaged as a box set. This happens a lot, unfortunately, and you will need to keep the covers, for the child profiles, local. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | Sounds to me like the boxset has the wrong child profiles associated with it. A strictly DVD boxset should not have BD children.
Unrelatedly, I hate when studios do these boxsets. How can it really be called a complete collection when the 4th movie doesn't come out for a few months!?! | | | My phpDVDprofiler collection |

| Posted: | | | | Eagle,
I realise Ice Age 4 is out soon, but as this set was on offer at my local store, I picked them up for my granddaughter. Whoever submitted the profile for this box set maybe did not check the profiles.
I will go back to the database, look at all profiles for Ice Age, check disc id's, and if I have got the same disc, I will then add the respective profile to my collection, corrected as for dvd's, not Bluray.
If necessary, I will keep the profiles local to my collection. |

I missed this part...sorry about that...unless these are included in a Blu-ray/DVD combo set, they should not have scans for the Blu-ray version. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | Ice Age 1 & 2 were re-released in a Blu-ray, DVD, DC combo pack. Don't know if the DVDs have the same disc IDs as the DVD set though but it's possible. |

| Posted: | | | | Checking Blu-ray.com they have no "complete set" in BD's for these.
However each individual movie was released with BD/DVD combo and BD only versions. So I would suspect you are seeing the Disc ID profile created for the individual BD/DVD combo releases. Which unfortunately means you would have to keep the scans local like others have said |

| Posted: | | | | After checking the disc id for 'Ice Age 3' on DVD profiler "add dvd by disc inserted", region 4 (Australia) came up, though on scanning the disc with dvd pro, regions 2 and 4 were shown.
I will just keep to a local profile for this collection. |
