Hey guys!

I'm considering purchasing the full version of dvd profiler but I'm concerned that Canadian UPC's for Blu-ray movies are not being recognized by the invelos database.
I have tried scanning some of my Blu-ray movies with the free version and I noticed that quite a few of them were not recognized and I was prompted to make my own entry!?
This concerned me as I don't want to buy the full version and then find that it doesn't recognize the Canadian Blu-ray movies.

Any Canadian users that can respond to this?

Thanks!

This is a user built database.  If the film you are looking for isn't found, that means it hasn't been entered yet.  I do, however, know that there are a lot of Canadian releases in the database.

It is always possible that a specific DVD isn't in the database but it doesn't happen that often. When it does it just means that no one has contributed it yet.

It isn't that difficult to contribute a new DVD. Pop in the DVD, add the data from the DVD cover and the DVD credits and submit it.

The program can even make this process easier by allowing you to copy and paste information from the same movie. You then change anything that doesn't match yours, such as the UPC, locality etc. and submit it.

You can always post questions or requests in the forums if needed.

Of course no program is perfect but I think that you'll be very happy with invelos. The program is user friendly and can be made to suit your specifications.

As TheMadMartian already said: "It's a user-built database."
If a certain title isn't in the database yet, someone has to enter it so why not you?
Read the Contribution Rules
and maybe have a look at this entry in the DVD Profiler Community Knowledge Base about cloning profiles.

It might also help if you provided a few examples (titles with UPC).  It may be that the titles you want haven't been submitted by anyone else yet.  Or it could be you're doing something wrong or have something configured wrong.  Without that additional information, we can only guess.
