| | Posted: | | | | Ok I was doing some updates today from, and as I have a lot of head shots w/o approved birth years I have to look at ever cast change to see if it will remove a BY that I need.
I see this in the Batman TAS Vol 3
from : Efrem Zimbalist Jr. as Alfred (Voice)
to: Efrem Zimbalist, Jr. [Efrem Zimbalist Jr.] as Alfred (Voice)
then in another update Batman TAS Vol 4
from : Efrem Zimbalist Jr. [Efrem Zimbalist, Jr.] as Alfred (Voice)
to : Efrem Zimbalist, Jr. as Alfred (Voice)
It seems we have a pissing contest between contributors
this is getting tedious just like DiG vs Dig while in the most technical sense not correct but it has no effect in searches that I can tell.
There needs to be some way to get this stuff sorted an get people to stop with the flipping back and forth with new contributions

| | Posted: | | | | It's a filter. You can't contribute 'Efrem Zimbalist Jr.' any more. There has to be a ', Jr.' at the end or DVDProfiler forces it to be become 'Credited As'. |

I have seen where filters change Efrem Zimbalist Jr. to Efrem Zimbalist, Jr. [Efrem Zimbalist Jr.] when the credits have Efrem Zimbalist, Jr. so no credit as is needed anyway. | | | | Pete |

Some would have Efrem Zimbalist Jr. and other episodes would have Efrem Zimbalist, Jr. (not necessarily with this name... but in general). | | | | Pete |

I have noticed though that it doesn't matter at times because invelos changes things. I will have the correct Cast/Crew data locally yet when I contribute other information I will notice that the data is different on the contribution page. The majority of time, as far as I can remember, these changes are similar to the ones you originally posted. When I come across this - I always re-update that profile and double check it. That and birth years are just screwing me tonight.
