| Posted: | | | | I've tried a full repair of my database, but I can't get the "Add To Collection" window to work well anymore. When searching by title, at least 1/3 of all rows in the search results have a blank value in the Title and gibberish characters in the UPC field. If I search for a specific title, sometimes I find it but most often I don't.
Wherever this information is getting pulled from, it's corrupt. Is this a file on my machine that I can fix? |

| Posted: | | | | Sounds like a corrupted onlinelist file.
You can search your computer for the following. Onlinelist
Two files listed under something like: c:\Users\(Name of User)\AppData\Local\DVD Profiler should be listed.
Before doing anything do a full database backup.
Close DVD Profiler, open up the file location where those two Onlinelist files are located, delete them, re-open dvd profiler and re-download the online profile list.
Another way is to first backup your database, close the program and then delete dvdprofiler completely from your computer including those two dod files mentioned above. Re-install the program and when you go to add a dvd the program should re-download the entire profile list for you.
If I am wrong, I'm sure someone will correct me. But in either case, backing up your local database is a must in this situation. |

| Posted: | | | | I agree with CubbyUps that it's probably a corrupted Online-List. You can download a new one from here: Online ListSave it to your "My Documents\DVD Profiler" directory. The next time you start DVD Profiler, it will automatically import the downloaded file. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | Thanks for the tip. That worked perfectly. I was out of town for a while, but I just tried it.
Thanks again! |

| Posted: | | | | A faster way to do this (for anyone else who finds this page by some act of fate or who, by a moderately small miracle, is able to get our search page to work without timing out):
- Hold CTRL while selecting Online->Refresh Online Profile List.
One of these days I have to fix that search page... | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative | | | Last edited: by Ken Cole |

One of these days I have to fix that search page... You could simply insert a search field that searches via Google: https://www.google.com/#hl=en&output=search&q=<search terms>+site:invelos.com + Refresh Online Profile List = https://www.google.com/#hl=en&output=search&q=Refresh+Online+Profile+List+site:invelos.com | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online
